"Well, it's been 1-1/2 years (took that long to find 70 hours) since
I bought my boat and started building it. But I finally put it in the
water for the first time on Saturday. The first few minutes were a little
jittery. Then,I settled in and it was wonderful. The Sea Wolf tracks
well, but even more surprising is how maneuverable it is. With only
slight leaning, I was able to turn in a smaller circle than my shorter
plastic boat. I really enjoyed every minute it took to build it, now
to enjoy being on the water.
Thanks again for your help when I called. I've learned a lot in the
process, and would not be afraid to do it all over again".

"Let me state that the (xxx) tandem can not even begin to compare
to the Thunderbird. The Thunderbird is a kayak, the (xxx) is a ship.
Even their new sports tandem did not appear as elegant as the Thunderbird.
It's like comparing an eighteen wheeler to a sports car. Their backrest
system is a far cry from yours".

"Now I am certain I made the right choice in selecting a Roy Folland
design because of the design's precision and the well thought out instructions.
I was amazed when laying out the bottom panels, they fit the pattern
precisely. In fact during fitting, I had incorrectly grabbed the wrong
wood for the 1-1/6" spacers and because the resulting shape did
not comply my error was noticed and corrected prior to the epoxy. Your
design and methods provide confidence for a novice like myself. I can't
imagine assembling 21' long bottom and side panels using the other methods
I investigated".
